Active Ingredient – Afoxolaner

NexGard contains afoxolaner, an active ingredient belonging to the isoxazoline family.

After administration, afoxolaner is absorbed into the dog's bloodstream. Fleas and ticks are exposed to the active ingredient when they feed on the treated dog.

Fast-Acting Flea Control

NexGard rapidly kills adult fleas and provides treatment and prevention of flea infestations.

Mange & Mite Control

How to Give NexGard

Give the chewable appropriate for your dog's bodyweight at monthly intervals.

NexGard is a soft, highly palatable chew and can be:

• Offered directly as a treat
• Broken into pieces for dogs that normally swallow treats whole
• Added intact to a small amount of dog food

Make sure your dog consumes the complete dose.

After administration, observe your dog for several minutes to ensure none of the chew has been rejected or lost.

If a monthly dose is missed, administer the appropriate NexGard chew and then resume the regular monthly dosing schedule.

Puppies

NexGard can be used in puppies from 8 weeks of age.
