Di-Vetelact Nutritional Milk is a premium, scientifically formulated low-lactose nutritional milk for dogs and puppies, designed to provide high-quality nutrition from birth through to senior years.

How to Prepare Di-Vetelact
The supplied 20mL scoop contains approximately 9g of Di-Vetelact powder.
Before preparing milk:
- Sterilise feeding bottles, teats and equipment by boiling for approximately 5 minutes.
- Pre-boil safe drinking water.
- Allow the water to cool to approximately 40°C.
- Add the required amount of Di-Vetelact powder.
- Mix thoroughly until a smooth milk consistency is achieved.
- Shake or stir well before feeding to evenly distribute the nutrients.
Dilution A – Initial/Standard Dilution
Mix:
1 scoop (approximately 9g) with 60mL of warm water.
For approximately 1 litre:
135g (15 scoops) with 900mL warm water.
When introducing young animals to Di-Vetelact, Dilution A is generally used initially.
Dilution B – Concentrated Formula
Mix:
1 scoop (approximately 9g) with 40mL of warm water.
For approximately 1 litre:
198g (22 scoops) with 880mL warm water.
Animals with higher energy requirements may progress to the more concentrated Dilution B after approximately 24–48 hours, according to the feeding directions provided with the product.
Feeding Puppies
For orphaned and early-weaned puppies, feed prepared Di-Vetelact using an appropriately sized sterilised bottle and teat.
Young puppies should receive multiple smaller feeds throughout the day rather than one large feed.
Always follow the daily feeding schedule on the Di-Vetelact packaging, as the amount required will vary according to the puppy's age, weight, condition and individual nutritional requirements.
Weigh hand-raised puppies regularly to monitor growth and help determine whether feeding amounts need adjustment.
Avoid overfeeding.
Where possible, newborn puppies should receive their mother's colostrum. If this is not possible, veterinary advice should be sought regarding an appropriate colostrum supplement.
Feeding Older Puppies & Adult Dogs
Once puppies are old enough to lap, prepared Di-Vetelact can be offered from a clean bowl.
It can also be:
- Served as a nutritious daily drink
- Mixed through wet or dry dog food
- Used to soften puppy food during weaning
- Sprinkled in powder form over normal meals as a nutritional topper
Always provide access to plenty of clean, fresh drinking water.

Di-Vetelact contains a low-lactose dairy blend made from ingredients including whey protein concentrate, milk protein concentrate, cream and milk solids.
