Trifecta Triple Active Drench for Sheep and Cattle is for the treatment and control of internal parasites of sheep including those resistant to Macrocyclic Lactone (ML), Benzimidazole (BZ) or Levamisole (LEV) drench families.

Trifecta Triple Active Drench for Sheep and Cattle is for the treatment and control of internal parasites of cattle including those resistant to the Macrocyclic Lactone (ML) drench family.

Trifecta Triple Active Drench for Sheep and Cattle is used to supplement diets which may be deficient in selenium and cobalt.

Trifecta for Cattle:

Trifecta Triple Active Drench can be used on cattle over 100kg and over 16 weeks of age to treat and control internal parasites including those resistant to ML (Macrocyclic Lactone) drench families.

Trifecta is an ideal strategic drench for cattle producers to use:

  • When introducing any new stock to the property.
  • As a weaning drench.
  • When routine worm egg counts indicate drenching is required.
  • As an ‘exit’ or ‘tail-cutter’ drench, where a long-acting drench has been used and it is close to the end of the product’s period of persistent activity (or sooner where worm egg counts indicate drenching is required)

Indications (Cattle):

Adult gastro-intestinal roundworms

  • Barber’s Pole Worm (Haemonchus placei)
  • Small Brown Stomach Worm (Ostertagia ostertagi)
  • Stomach Hair Worm (Trichostrongylus axei)
  • Black Scour Worm (Trichostrongylus longispicularis)
  • Small Intestinal Worm (Cooperia oncophera; C. pectinata; C. punctata)
  • Thin Necked Intestinal Worm (Nematodirus helvetianus)
  • Hookworm (Bunostomum phlebotomum)
  • Capillarids (Capillaria bovis)
  • Nodule Worm (Oesophagostomum radiatum)

Trifecta for Sheep:

Trifecta Triple Active Drench can be used on sheep over 15kg and over 6 weeks of age to treat and control internal parasites, including those;

  • Resistant to ML (Macrocyclic Lactone) drench families.
  • Resistant to BZ (Benzimidazole) drench families.
  • Resistant to LEV (Levamisole) drench families.

Trifecta is an ideal strategic drench for sheep products to use;

  • When introducing any new stock to the property.
  • As a weaning drench.
  • When routine worm egg counts indicate drenching is required, eg Autumn drenching of adult animals.
  • As an ‘exit’ or ‘tail-cutter’ drench, where a long-acting drench has been used and it is close to the end of the product’s period of persistent activity (or sooner where worm egg counts indicate drenching is required)

  • Small Intestinal Worm (Cooperia curticei; C. oncophora)
  • Thin Necked Intestinal Worm (Nematodirus filicollis; N. spathiger; N. abnormalis)
  • Hookworm (Bunostomum trigonocephalum)
  • Intestinal Threadworm (Strongyloides papillosus)
  • Large Bowel Worm (Oesophagostomum venulosum)
  • Nodule worm (Oesophagostomum columbianum)
