VETADINE MEDICATED WASH

For use as an aid in the treatment of non-specific dermatoses (such as eczema) and ringworm in horses, cattle, dogs and cats and also Queensland Itch in horses.Vetadine Medicated Animal Wash contains iodophor, giving the well known effective germicidal action of iodine in a non-irritating, stable, mildly detergent form. The formulation has been shown to be effective against a wide range of organisms including those associated with bacterial and fungal skin conditions such as ringworm and mud fever (Dermatophilus infection or streptothricosis). Vetadine Medicated Animal Wash adds a beautiful lustrous sheen to the coat, and helps prevent and treat undesirable skin conditions.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:

• Retinol Palmitate,
• Cholecalciferol,
• dl-alpha Tocopherol Acetate

DESCRIPTION:

Brown liquid for external use. Each litre contains: Nonidet 975C 112g, Hydriodic acid 57% 12.5g, Crude iodine 19.7g; that is Iodophor equivalent to 16g available iodine.

SIZES: 250mL, 500mL & 2L  

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

For treatment of skin conditions:

• Mix 30mL in 5 litres of water.
• Wash animal thoroughly with mixture, then rinse off and repeat.
• Do not rinse off.

For routine washing:

• Mix 30mL in 10 litres of water and wash animal thoroughly.
• No need to rinse off. Note:
• Light coloured animals may show slight temporary discolouration of the hair; to minimise this effect the application may be rinsed off after 1-2 hours.

Vetadine Medicated Animal Wash contains a special low-foaming cleansing agent. If necessary, excessively dirty animals may be pre-washed with an ordinary shampoo then rinsed thoroughly before continuing with Vetadine treatment.
