When registering, you must provide us with accurate, complete and up to date information. You must safe guard any user names and passwords, which we may provide to you. You authorise us to assume that any person using this site with your user name and password is either you or has been authorised by you to do so. By using this site you agree that doing so is at your own risk. We endeavour to provide a convenient and functional site, but we do not guarantee that the contents will be error free or that the site or the server that operates it are free of viruses or other harmful components. Although all effort is made to readily update information of content we cannot guarantee as we do not undertake to provide support or maintenance services for the content.

ORDER PROCESSING & PAYMENT METHODS

Credit Cards: We accept Visa & MasterCard; there is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases with PETessentials.com.au. Please be sure to provide you're exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon placement of your order. In situations where ordered items are unavailable for dispatch within 72 hours of receipt of your payment, you will be given the option of a refund for that item only or to have that item held on backorder for you and dispatched as soon as it becomes available.

Pet Essentials accepts - Paypal, Money Orders, Bank Cheques, Company Cheques and Personal Cheques: These must be made out in Australian dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or bank cheque. For personal and company cheques, please allow up to 7 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. All cheques/money orders should be made payable to Pet Essentials - along with a copy of your order to the following address:

FREIGHT / DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

Pet Essentials dispatch the majority of both Australian and International orders via Australia Post. However, we reserve the right to utilise alternative forms of transport at our discretion. Delivery times can be up to 7 days within Australia (or more for some remote Australian locations) and up to 3 weeks for International addresses.

Shipping charges are not included in the pricing of individual items and are displayed separately at checkout prior to any payment information being transmitted to PETessentials. Please see ‘Delivery' for applicable freight charges.

Any import duties, customs duties or restrictions incurred by international customers are the responsibility of the customer and are beyond the control of PETessentials.  International customers are advised to check with the relevant authorities in their country before placing an order with PETessentials.

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. PETEessentials reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. PETessentials reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.

RETURN POLICY & PROCEDURE

PETessentials offers a 10 day money-back guarantee (less shipping costs) provided the goods are returned in a saleable condition and are unused, in the original undamaged box including all original packing and inclusions. All goods returned to PETessentials will be inspected upon their return and in the case of faulty products, a replacement product will be sent at the expense of PETessentials or a refund issued to the customers credit card according to the customers instructions. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of AUD$10 or 15% (whichever is the greater) and replacement cost, or refuse the return of items that are returned incomplete or damaged in any way. The purchaser is required to pay all shipping costs incurred in returning items to PETessentials except in instances where the goods arrived faulty or the incorrect product was shipped by PETessentials. Return Authority Numbers will only be issued where contact is made within 10 day period of receipt of the item from PETessentials.

CONTENT ERRORS

In the event a product is listed on our site at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers due to manufacturers price/product increase, PETessentials shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. PETessentials shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders at our discretion whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card debited. If your credit card has already been debited for the purchase and your order is cancelled PETessentials shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

GENERAL

As far as legally possible this Agreement, its terms and conditions and the use of PETessentials.com.au shall be governed by the laws in existence from time to time in Australia. Any claim relating to PETessentials.com.au, the services provided through PETessentials.com.au or the ‘Content' shall be governed by Federal Law of Australia and you agree to submit to having the matter dealt with in a court of law within Australia.

At Pet Essentials your privacy is our priority. We do not give out information about our customers and your personal details are protected at all times.

Pet Essentials has taken considerable effort to ensure the security of your personal information. When you place an order with us, your personal information is passed through our secure server. Pet Essentials has a policy that all customer information is strictly confidential and we do not provide or disclose any information to third parties without your explicit consent to do so. Registration 
In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site or delivery communication for which they have expressed interest. 

Sharing 
We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. We partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. 

Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as post code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Special Offers 
We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

Site and Service Updates 
We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.

Correction/Updating Personal Information 
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavour to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can usually be done at the member information page or by emailing our Customer Support.

Choice/Opt-out 
Our users are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information. For example, our order form has an 'opt-out' mechanism so users who buy a product from us, but don't want any marketing material, can keep their email address off of our lists.
